After a very long break from the easel, I needed something to ease back into it. This painting was perfect for it. It was a collaboration with five other artists to make up the whole painting. The original is a huge painting. Bouguereau had to be on a ladder just to paint my upper left section.

Dry Brush Paintings
Dry Brushing is using oil paint as graphite. This is why it looks so much like a drawing. It takes very little paint on a very dry brush and it's put on watercolor paper. After layers of brushing, an image finally appears. Most of these works are 18x 24 with a few that are 12x 16 inches.
